Greenevers Community Center & Park COVID-19 Response

On March 27th Governor Cooper issued a ‘Stay at Home’ Order (Executive Order No. 121), which will go into effect on March 30th at 5 PM. This order was issued out of an abundance of caution to safeguard the public health and to prevent possible further spread of COVID-19 in the state and is expected to last through April 29, unless otherwise directed.
In an abundance of caution and as part of mitigation efforts in response to COVID-19, the Town of Greenevers is closing its park and community center as of 12 PM on Monday, March 30. The Greenevers Community Center and park will remain closed for the duration of the stay at home order. We will continue to monitor park activity and take the necessary actions to prevent large gatherings and congregations of people during the stay at home order.
